''Melaleuca caeca'' is a plant in the myrtle family, Myrtaceae and is endemic to the south-west of Western Australia. Its leaves are arranged alternately, linear to narrow egg-shaped, long, wide with a rounded end. The heads are up to in diameter and contain between 5 and 12 groups of flowers in threes. The stamens are arranged in bundles of five around the flower, with 4 to 7 stamens in each bundle. The flowering season is September and October and is followed by fruits which are woody capsules, long in an almost spherical cluster around the stems.〔
